                                                                                        Burdick Labradors Health Guarantee

I represent that to the best of our knowledge the puppy that you have purchased is in good health and is mentally alert. We guarantee a puppy free
from sickness and disease at the day of purchase. The purchased puppy will be sold with a limited guarantee and may be AKC registered. Full
registration is available for approved breeders. Also received with the puppy be your puppy’s health information prior to you purchase, the first shots,
and the worming schedule. The pup would have been wormed at 3,5 and 7 weeks of age. Unless specified in writing prior to the birth of the pup dew
claws will NOT be removed. Pups shipped by air will have a health certificate from our Veterinarian. Your new pup will have a limited guarantee
including Hip Dyspepsia, and Hereditary Eye Defects. It is impossible for us to guarantee that your dog will be free of any genetic defects since
genetics cannot be totally controlled by the breeder. By using sound breeding stock we are doing our best to lessen the occurrence of the defects
which have been judged by hereditary. Epilepsy and Grand Mal Seizures are not covered under this Guarantee. If your dog is diagnosed with either
of these ailments please let us know so we can update our health records.

Burdick Labradors offers you, the buyer, a health guarantee against any congenital defects and a 26 month guarantee on hips and Hereditary Eye
Defects. To qualify for this guarantee you will be required to follow the procedure listed below:

To be covered for Health Guarantee:

1. You will be required to have your new puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian within 5 working days of sale .A health certificate is required
signed by your Veterinarian stating the doctors findings.  Failure to have your puppy checked within 5 working days will make hip guarantee null and
void. After the puppy has been with its new owners for over 5 working days, after this time we cannot control the puppy’s environment. A copy of the
health certificate may be sent to Burdick Labradors for verification, but this is not necessary as long as we can obtain an original document from you
or you Veterinarian if necessary.  

2. If your vet finds a serious health problem (within the specified time frame) you must contact us immediately and provide a written description of
the health problem from your vet. All associated cost, including vet fees and transportation are your responsibility.

3. If your vet does finds a serious health problem within the 5 working days you may return the puppy with AKC papers and receive a replacement
puppy. If a replacement puppy is not available you will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the puppy.

Hereditary Eye Defects:
If you suspect Hereditary Eye Defects, immediately notify your Veterinarian and arrange to have the dogs eyes examined. Your dog must be
diagnosed by a Veterinarian that is a licensed member of the American College of Veterinarian Ophthalmologists This guarantee is void if Eye
Defects are found after 26 months from the date of birth of the dog.

If a Hereditary Eye Defect is detected by your Veterinarian a copy of the assessment must be sent to Burdick Labradors for our Veterinarian to review
in addition a copy must be submitted to CERF by the Examining Veterinarian. The assessment must show the defect was Hereditary Eye Defect and
not the result an injury, lack of care or poor nutrition.

To be covered by our 26 month Hip, Congenital Defect Guarantee:

1. The puppy / dog must be owned by the original buyer.

2. You must have returned a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian within 14 days of purchase.

3. The puppy / dog has not been bred.

4. The puppy / dog is not overweight, over exercised, nor has done an excessive amount of jumping up or down, this can cause bone spurs and the
dog will not be able to be evaluated by the OFA for certification.

5. The dog must not be over 26 months old in age.

6. Hip evaluation must come from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) and must show that the hips are moderate to severely dy aphasic.
Your vet can send all required x-rays and paperwork for you to the OFA for evaluation. All costs for the evaluation and treatment are the responsibility
of you, the buyer. Should your pet be deemed moderate to severely dysphasic, Hereditary Eye Defects you, the buyer have several options:

1. You may return the dog back to Burdick Labradors with AKC papers and sign ownership back to Burdick Labradors and receive a full refund of the
purchase price.

2. You may return the dog back to Burdick Labradors with AKC papers and sign ownership back to us and receive another puppy of your choice.
From the same litter (if available) or from a future litter.

3. You may choose to keep your dog and we will refund half of the purchase price to you. We will also require that you spay / neuter your dog.

If for any reason you are unable to keep the dog, other than canine health reasons. Please contact us and we will help you place the dog in a new
home. If necessary by mutual agreement you may return the dog to us and we will place the dog. The owner is responsible for all transportation to
Burdick Labradors and boarding fees this will be the cost of food and a small care charge while the dog is waiting adoption. Payment for boarding
fees will be deducted from the resale price of the dog the remaining funds will be forwarded to the old owner.
